Most people if they are looking for something more encouraging from the Bible to read will read Romans chapter 8 instead of Genesis chapter 8. If your ever feel alone in the world let me tell you that Genesis chapter 8 can be more encouraging. If you are in a storm Genesis chapter 8 will give you new hope and encouragement because it is about renewal and rest after a tribulation. It is about the end of the storm and how new life comes from the aftermath.
God remembers His own. The word remember in Genesis chapter 8 when it talks about God remembering Noah is not that He forgot Noah, it is that He fulfilled a promise to His servant. God not only "remembered" Noah but He remembered the animals that was on the ark.
The next time that you feel alone in the world go to the word of God. In Hebrews it says: "I will never leave you or forsake you" Hebrews 13:5 NKJV. Know that God is still on the throne and He will remember His own.
It might be that if you feel alone and you are wondering where God is, you might not be looking in the right spot. Could be to that you are looking at your life's footsteps and you see one set of tracks. Those are the times that He is carrying you.
